Diamond Countersinks are used in airframe assembly lines, both in hand and CNC operations, for creating the chamfer around the pre-drilled hole, in airplane parts where riveting connection is utilized. Diamond Countersinks are the best solutions for countersinking and chamfering composite and abrasive materials, where high wear resistance cutting edge is required. The pilot guides the countersink to the center of the hole, preventing chatter and run out.

All of our PCD Countersinks are built to customers’ specifications, with integral and replaceable pilot, two or three flutes and cutting angles of 100° and 130°. They can be easily reground multiple times to allow for the lowest possible cost per hole.
